The Goulburn Valley Health service is a 300-bed acute and extended care facility which provides surgical, medical, paediatric, obstetrics and gynaecology, intensive care and psychiatry services as well as extended care and regional services for 160,000 people in the region. It is affiliated with The University of Melbourne and La Trobe University.
Advanced trainees will enjoy a valuable training experience in this rural palliative medicine setting.
Previous trainees have completed research studies and published in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to excellent clinical exposure, trainees would be encouraged to gain independence, experience in clinical audits and management.
